Abstract

The integration of technology in English language teaching (ELT) has revolutionized traditional pedagogical practices, offering innovative approaches to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Technology facilitates access to authentic resources, promotes personalized learning experiences, and supports collaborative activities, making language acquisition more interactive and effective. This paper provides a brief overview of the transformative role of technology in ELT, highlighting its potential to address the challenges of conventional methods and meet the diverse needs of learners.

Key innovations in computing, such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and gamification, have significantly enriched teaching practices. AI-driven tools offer personalized feedback, adaptive learning pathways, and automated assessment systems, while VR creates immersive environments for cultural and contextual learning. Additionally, gamified platforms foster motivation and engagement, making language learning enjoyable and dynamic.

Effective integration of these technologies requires robust education management strategies. This includes leadership-driven vision, targeted teacher training, resource allocation, and continuous evaluation to ensure impactful adoption. Education managers play a critical role in fostering a supportive ecosystem, addressing technical and equity challenges, and aligning technology use with pedagogical goals. By exploring these dimensions, the article underscores the synergy between technology, computing innovations, and education management in shaping the future of ELT.
